It’s our personal opinion that white crocheted or light blue down duvets look the best. A light or clean looking color is an ideal design choice for a bed. Most of us like the traditional look of a down comforter. A high quality duvet can help the comforter last longer and give you peace of mind.
Down Duvet Thread Count
When purchasing a duvet keep in mind the softness of the material. You should get a high thread count (300+), if possible.
Down Duvet Protection
The duvet is relatively inexpensive. It is worth it because it will make washing the down comforter so much easier; you don't have to. Just take the duvet off and throw it in the washer. The other reason for a duvet is that the comforter will last much longer. Those of us with luxurious down comforters will want the added protection; for sure.
